the examples are great, but they follow the textbook i have to the letter for the most part. there are some new things, but i wish they would have provided original examples

I have several copies of this Outline and all Greek letters display fine. Also, I could not find any figures several pages away from their reference. I used Patino font, which is very easy to recognize when used along side Greek letters, especially the letter "vee."

I'm a huge fan of Schaum's -- the low rating is for formatting on the Kindle. None of the greek letters (density, torque, etc) display in the text, so it is impossible to read the text without already knowing the material. Also, the figures are displayed up to 5 pages away from the text to which they pertain -- the speed that you can change pages makes the figures unusable in the context of the text.Definitely not useful as a sole source of information -- possibly okay for a suppliment.
